Yikes! Today is yet another example of a really slow news day. Will this be the day I actually approach the topic of abortion? I'm trying to hold out as long as I can because I hate that debate...boring radio when you talk about abortion. The reason it might come up on the show today is the "big news" that Norma McCorvey wants to have the Supreme Court re-open the case. Norma was "Roe" in the Roe V Wade case everyone identifies with abortion politics. She wants to re-open the case because she's now a Christian and doesn't support abortion anymore. "Ouch" to the feminists. Of course, the major media isn't really highlighting this "news" very much. It really won't matter anyway if they do re-open the case...the NOW and NARAL people will find another way...

Come to think of it, it is rather boring radio...so no go on the abortion topic today. I might do the following:

1 - A really interesting story about a baby born to a female Marine during the Iraq war...in a combat zone. It's a first ever for the US and everyone is flipping out about it. I want to ask what she named the baby...

2 - The Supreme Court ruled yesterday that if you live in a crime ridden public housing complex (and who doesn't?)...the government can ban visitors to the complex...even if they're there at YOUR request...even if it's the father of your child...anyone. Wow.

3 - The SC DMV goes ON-LINE tomorrow...people can renew their license, get duplicates, pay fines, check their point status and more on the internet site (www.scdmvonline.com). One of the rules is you MUST provide your Social Security number...something that is against Federal Privacy Laws.

We'll see what happens today...
