UNCLE ALBERT, ADMIRAL CLINTON?
Noted with passing interest the fact that the former President of the United States, George H. W. Bush had an aircraft carrier named after him.
The USS George H.W. Bush left it's slip into the water over the weekend.
I'm just curious and I don't have any time right now to research it, but are there ANY Naval - or anything else for that matter - named after the other former President, William Jefferson Clinton? Even Carter has a submarine named after him (primarily because he served as a bubble head in the Navy)...Reagan has an aircraft carrier...
Is there anything? I'd think maybe it would be a submarine - because of their cigar shape - but I don't know of anything named after him. Anyone else know?

Nothing yet. I would imagine at some point the Navy will be forced to name something after him - perhaps an FFG - nothing as prestigious as a carrier.
Can't wait till the current prez gets a vessel named after him. How 'bout a "Party Barge" ? I say it's we call it the "SS NUMBNUTS"
Clinton should have something named after him, something with sails, since he did and said everything based on the winds of public opinion. :)
