2007 Iowa Pork Congress - 'It's all here' this week!
The theme of this, the 35th annual show, is "It's All Here!" The nation's largest winter swine trade show will feature nearly 300 companies including several new exhibitors, 20 educational opportunities and numerous other events and activities.

Iowa joins effort to create greenhouse gas registry
Iowa has joined several other Midwestern states in the development of a voluntary midwest registry for greenhouse gas emissions. Catharine Fitzsimmons, air quality bureau chief at the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, says the registry has a couple of purposes. Fitzsimmons says it will provide Iowa industries a place to register where there greenhouse gases are and how the companies politicians are reducing producing greenhouse gases.
In other news:

I am dead dog tired today after hanging cabinets, priming and painting drywall, installing shelving, hanging cabinets, and hanging cabinets in our kitchen and my new recording studio. I started moving in the electronics and running cable and wire for the home network until midnight last night. My daughter woke me up this morning - which normally never happens on a weekday.

In between all that, we took the kids sledding. I'm starting to take a shine slightly to the cold and snow.
